Hey Purists,

Golden afternoons that stretch longer than expected.

Evenings on a rooftop, Italian wine in hand, the city humming below.

Food is tradition. Architecture is inheritance. Pleasure is part of daily life. Nothing feels rushed, even with hundreds of people around you.

If you loved our glow guides to St. Barts, 30A, New York, Los Angeles, or the South of France, this one carries that same elevated escape energy with deeper history, and a kind of beauty that reveals itself over time.

Here's your brand new glow guide to Rome: four days where past and present exist side by side, and life is felt fully in between.

XXOO, Estela

4 Days in Rome | Your Itinerary

Day One | Ancient Rome & Trastevere Evenings

🏛 Palatine Hill | Start at the birthplace of Rome, wandering the ruins of imperial palaces above the Forum. Quieter than the Colosseum and just as moving. Go early, before the city wakes.

🥪 Testaccio Market | Lunch like a local. The legendary brisket sandwich at Mordi e Vai (Box 15) or pizza al taglio at Casa Manco (Box 22). Get there before the stalls wind down mid-afternoon.

🌇 Trastevere Ascent | Walk up from Piazza di Santa Maria toward the Gianicolo for panoramic city views, pausing at the monumental Fontana dell’Acqua Paola.

🍝 Glass Hostaria or Nannarella | Dinner in Trastevere, your pick between Michelin-modern (Glass) and beloved-classic trattoria (Nannarella).

🍸 Freni e Frizioni | Aperitivo near Piazza Trilussa at the bar that brought aperitivo culture to Rome. End the night on the piazzetta.

Day Two | Baroque Treasures & a Colosseum Sunset
